Home Prices in Orlando

At a recent seminar I attended by the Trump organization, the lecturer indicated that the nationwide average for home appreciation was 200% every 10.2 years. In otherwords, every 10.2 years the value of your home doubles.

Looking at the recent trends for each month and over an 8 year period, you will see that the current appreciation percentage in Orlando for the the month of November is roughly 229% (again this is for only 8 years, not 10.2 as the national average represents). Please see below:

NOV 1999 ............................................................... $102,488

NOV 2000 ............................................................... $107,731

NOV 2001 ............................................................... $125,846

NOV 2002 ............................................................... $138,663

NOV 2003 ............................................................... $153,567

NOV 2004 ............................................................... $182,300

NOV 2005 ............................................................... $249,900

NOV 2006 ............................................................... $250,000

NOV 2007 ............................................................... $235,000
